One client. You. Until the summit.
Everybody who works for you has other clients. We take one at a time.
$100,000
a monthOne client at a time. Until you summit, it is you and nobody else.
Your trainer has other clients. Your manager has other clients. The doctor who says yes to you says yes to other people on other afternoons. You have been the most important person in every room you have walked into since you were nineteen and you have never once been the only one on anybody's list.
One person, dedicated to you. Not a coach you speak to once a month. Not one client of several. Yours.
One at a time, and the place is taken until that client summits. Six seasons, twelve places, silence in the Kathmandu Valley to the summit of Everest, and one person who is not doing anything else. If it is you, it is nobody else. If it is not, it is somebody.

What $100,000 a month buys
Five things. No tier list, no comparison table, no column you are supposed to feel bad about. There is one of these and this is it.
One person. Yours.
Not a rota, not a team, not an account manager with your file open. One person, and for as long as this runs you are the work they are doing.
They are not your friend, not your assistant and not on your payroll. That rules out most of the people you currently talk to.
He is Dai — the word is the whole name. He has never climbed an eight-thousand-metre peak and he is not going to, which is the argument rather than the apology: a man chasing a summit of his own has a reason to push you up it, and he has nothing on that mountain to win.
No other clients. Not while it is you.
One client at a time. Not one for this and a handful for something else — one, for the whole of it. Nobody here has a second name in the diary to fall back on.
Which means there is nobody to move into your slot when you move it, and nobody whose worse week makes yours look fine. You have never had that and it is not as comfortable as it sounds.
How much of them you actually get.
Dedicated means dedicated. It is not a call you book, it is not a window you are given, and it is not a plan posted to you with your name typed at the top.
It is built around where you live, what your calendar actually leaves, and the body you have been ignoring. Not a cohort. Not a document.
To be suppliedThe real shape of the engagement. How many days a month, in person or not, in whose city, on what hours, and what somebody paying this can expect when he calls at four in the morning. Every one of those is a number we do not have, and every one is the first question anybody at this price will ask. Nothing is stated here until it is decided.
The twelve steps are the work.
Twelve days of silence in the Kathmandu Valley, then eleven mountains, in order, ending on the summit of Everest. That is not a metaphor attached to this and it is not something bigger sold separately. It is what the two of you do.
You can buy the permit, the guide, the bottled oxygen and the helicopter. Nobody has ever bought acclimatisation. This buys the person who makes you go and do the weeks it takes.
All of it is in the number. Guiding, permits, flights, lodging, the doctor, the expedition itself — there is no second invoice for the climbing and nothing on this site is going to ask you for money twice. The offer page itemises where the month goes, and the month is the whole of it.
Somebody who tells you no.
You have not been told no by somebody you were paying since you were nineteen. You are about to be, by somebody you are paying a great deal.
That is not a personality trait we are advertising. It is the mechanism. A partner who agrees with you is an expensive mirror, and you already own several.
You start this week.
The mountains have a window. The person does not. That gap is the only part of this you can act on today.
Nepal has two climbing seasons a year and neither of them cares what you have decided. Then there is a permit, a flight, a medical clearance in writing and a guide whose year was spoken for last year. From the day somebody says yes to the day anything actually happens is measured in months.
This is measured in days. No season. No permit. No flight. No kit list. No visa, no altitude, no waiting for spring. The mountains have a window and the person does not.
You are somewhere right now with a floor, some stairs and a body you have been ignoring. That is the equipment. Week one starts from there, in the city you are in, in the week you are in.
To be suppliedThe real lead time. How many days from the first payment to being in contact, and how many more to being in the room. The page says days, and will not say a number until there is one.
- The mountainA season, a permit, a flight, a clearance in writing, a guide whose year was spoken for last year.
- The personA card, and then somebody in contact. From wherever you are standing, in the week you are standing in it.
What it is not
A number this size invites you to assume it buys anything. Here is the part where we go through what it does not, before you find out the expensive way.
It does not buy you the summit.
Red blood cells take the weeks they take. There is no concierge service for haemoglobin, there is no version of this that is faster because of who you are, and the order is the medicine.
Nobody on this site is going to tell you that you will stand on top of Everest. Weather, a body and luck all get a say, and none of the three has read your contract.
They do not work for you.
You are paying for this person and you do not get to overrule them. That is the whole arrangement, and it is the opposite of every other arrangement you have.
The one thing not for sale here at any figure is agreement.
It is not treatment.
Not detox, not therapy, not medicine, not a substitute for any of the three. Nobody here is your doctor and nobody here is going to behave like one.
Coming off alcohol or benzodiazepines without medical supervision can kill you, and a hundred thousand dollars a month changes nothing about that. If that is where you are, this is not the thing you need this week.
It is not a place in a queue.
There is no queue. There is one client at a time, and paying does not reserve a place behind the one who is here, hold a season, or count for anything with the doctor who has to put your clearance in writing.
Medically cleared, past supervised detox, and willing to be told no. That gate does not move for anybody who pays us, and if it did it would be worth nothing.
This is not treatment. Detox must be supervised by a doctor.
To be suppliedwho says no, and on what grounds. One client at a time means somebody is choosing, and at this price the reader will assume that somebody is him. What is the screen, what disqualifies, and what happens when the person who can pay is the person who should be under medical supervision instead? Nothing on the page claims a screen exists and nothing claims one does not, because we do not know yet.
Who this is for
- You have never once been the only thing on somebody's list. Not at school, not at work, not at four in the morning.
- You are not short of people who agree with you. You are short of one who does not and is still there next month.
- You have had a trainer. You have had four. Every one of them had somebody else in the diary that afternoon.
- You have bought everything that can be bought, and the one thing that cannot is the only thing left that would be interesting.
And who it is not.
- You are in withdrawal, or you are about to be. See a doctor, not a website.
- You want somebody to do it for you. That is the one thing on this site that is not for sale at any price.
What this has to do with the twelve steps.
It is the twelve steps. Not a route to them, not a warm-up for them, not a smaller version you do first. The ladder on the offer page is the plan; this is the person who does it with you, and there has never been a version of this where those were two separate things you could buy.
The gate asks for three things: medically cleared, past supervised detox, and willing to be told no by somebody earning less in a season than you spend on dinner. Two of those are not ours to give you. The third one is a habit, and a habit is built by one unimpressed person asking you what you actually did, over and over, until you summit.
So there is nothing here to compare. There is one engagement, one client at a time, and a number.
The number is all of it. $100,000 a month covers the person and the climbing together — guiding, permits, flights, lodging, medical, the expedition — and there is no second invoice for any of it. The offer page splits one month into six lines to show you where it goes. It is the same month, not a second bill.
What is still not written down is how it stops. No minimum term, no notice period, no refund clause — none of the three has been written, so none of the three exists. That is below, and it is a blank rather than a clause somebody invented for a web page.
The ladder itself, the gate and the questions we refuse to answer with a made-up number are all on the offer page. Twelve real places in one order. Read it before you read another word here, because that is the thing you would be doing.
It is monthly.
You are charged for a month and you get a month. It renews on the same date every month until it is stopped, and there is no minimum term written down to sit through first.
Which is a strange thing to say about a climb that runs until you summit and a person who took no other clients to do it with you. Both of those are true at once, and the page is not going to smooth it over with a term nobody has agreed.
To be suppliedHow cancelling actually works, in one sentence — and the harder half, which is what happens to the place if the one client stops in month three. Does it reopen? Is there a term? Is there notice? The card is charged monthly from the moment somebody subscribes, so none of this is hypothetical. Terms, refunds and notice periods are written by a principal and a lawyer, never by a web page.
Take the year.
The button sends you to Stripe. You pay the first month on Stripe's page, in Stripe's card form. No card number is typed into this website and none is kept here.
Then it is $100,000 a month, charged on the same date every month until it is stopped.
If you would rather ask something before you hand over a hundred thousand dollars, ask. The form is three fields, it takes no card, and nothing is charged on it. Most people at this end of a decision should use it.
$100,000 a month, charged by Stripe on the same date every month until it is stopped. The card page is Stripe's, not ours. The twelve steps are on the other page and they are what this does.
To be suppliedWho gets in touch after somebody subscribes, and how fast. How the first month is paid is answered — monthly, by card — and this is the half that is not. Somebody who has just paid this and heard nothing by Thursday is the worst outcome this arrangement can produce. No response time is stated anywhere, because none has been set.
